A short story about inequality of living space

Six Square Meters is a social drama that focuses on marginal life in Tehran. It tells the story of a worker who is forced to reduce his living space due to his precarious situation and live in a place of six square meters. The space is the main character of this film. The story revolves around an attempt to adapt to this space and make it livable. Beyond being a social issue, it is also a film about inner space—the space of dreams and sleep—and its encounter with the outer space, that of reality. In its formal exploration, the film tries to merge these two contradictory spaces and shows the impact one has on the other.
